The Komatsu WX07 LHD is a 7-tonne underground mining loader engineered to enhance operator performance, increase loading efficiency, and deliver long term reliability in hard rock mining applications. Offering up to 10% more breakout force than any other machine in its class, and a faster cycle time when operating with a loaded bucket, the WX07 is built for high production in demanding environments. To complement and further enhance the performance of the underground WX07 LHD, ENSTRUC manufactured four custom-engineered, high-productivity mining buckets designed to maximise machine capability and uptime.
The Komatsu WX07 mining LHD buckets developed by ENSTRUC is light enough to promote fast bucket motion times, yet robust enough to endure the toughest and most abrasive underground mining conditions. Each load-haul-dump bucket was manufactured using high-strength structural steels, selected for their excellent strength-to-weight ratio, and high-wear areas have been reinforced with premium abrasion-resistant materials to extend service life. This results in an economical, durable, and low-maintenance underground mining bucket capable of withstanding intense operational demands.
To further reduce maintenance costs and improve efficiency, the Komatsu WX07 buckets are equipped with high-performance mining ground engaging tools (GET) and mechanical lip shrouds, designed for quick and simple replacement on-site. A cast segmented profile bar paired with interlocking heel shrouds offers superior lip protection and is easily replaced, significantly improving back blading performance and reducing downtime. ENSTRUC’s mining GET systems feature a higher concentration of nickel, chrome, and molybdenum alloys, delivering outstanding resistance to slide abrasion and wear. This metallurgical advantage ensures that the LHD GET components can work harder and longer in harsh mining conditions, helping operators achieve maximum bucket life and lower total cost of ownership.
